Dant Clayton is seeking a dynamic and energetic Sr Process and Quality Engineer to oversee day to day needs and the strategic initiatives in capital investment projects, process engineering, process improvement and process control.
Responsible for a leading a small equipment / facility maintenance team and developing Preventive Maintenance
Program that minimizes unplanned downtime. Be part of the operations leadership team driving transformational change - creating a world class / responsive manufacturing system supporting a complex manufacturing operation.

Position Overview
The Sr Process / Quality Engineer responsibilities include:

Competencies and Qualifications
1. BS degree in mechanical, process or manufacturing engineering.
2. Green belt and / or ISO 9000 certification.
3. 10+ years’ experience in metal fabrication (cutting, sawing, forming, bending, drilling) and welding / fitting and finishing systems, in both steel and aluminum.
4. A desire and passion to work with the team on the plant floor and solve problems using root cause analysis.
5. Excellent project management experience creating solutions to plant floor bottlenecks or constraints.
6. Capital investment project management skills (justification and implementation to goals).
7. Plant and equipment maintenance leadership experience with direct experience driving preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
8. Experience developing and networking with a base of suppliers for plant support and improvement.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
10. A positive / can do attitude and team player.
11. Excellent computer skills including MS Office products, AutoCAD and the suite of quality tools such as minitab.
