Trinitas Emergency Department is one of the busiest in the state with more than 73,000 emergency visits annually. Our newly renovated Emergency Room has a total of 45 treatment rooms with separate treatment areas for families, children and seniors.
The Assistant Nurse Manager provides for the continuity of nursing leadership on the unit when the Nurse Manager is absent to provide staffing, provision of clinical leadership, and collaboration with the nursing supervisor in accordance with unit goals.

Qualifications:

• Current New Jersey Professional Nurse License.
• Graduate of or advance matriculation in a baccalaureate degree in nursing program, preferred.
• ACLS, CPR and PALS certifications obtained within 6 months of joining ED team.
• Coronary care certification is required of nurse managers employed where cardiac monitoring is part of the patient care program.
• Ability to perform all competencies is required for employment in the position.
• Experience in the appropriate clinical specialty.
• At least four (4) years of clinical experience in ER nursing.
• Evidence of professional, leadership, and organizational skills needed to manage a nursing unit which operates efficiently and which delivers quality patient care within the framework of the nursing process.
