Job Details

  • After training, you’ll guide blood donors through the entire blood donation process — including welcoming donors, making sure they’re healthy enough to give blood, and confidently performing blood collection.
  • Most days will be spent at the Northwoods donor center, but your job will also take you to offsite blood drives in the surrounding area.
  • Specific job duties will be reviewed during the interview process.

Pay and Hours

  • Competitive pay and benefits — plus a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000!
  • Additional starting pay if you have an advanced degree or equivalent experience — plus additional opportunities available if you have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
  • Full-Time
  • Hours are between 5 am – 7 pm with a variable schedule and weekends.

Requirements and Skills Needed

This is a fast-paced, people-first role that requires strong attention to detail. You will also need to:


  • Have a High School diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous phlebotomy, EMT, Paramedic, LPN, C.N.A., or M.A. experience is a plus.
  • Be comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people in a constantly changing environment — no day is the same!
  • Be teachable, steady, and precise.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and privacy regulations.
