Account Management Resources (AMR) manages and resolves delinquent accounts for commercial and governmental entities. AMR partners with organizations to provide third-party debt collection services for medical, municipal, educational, and governmental entities.

Who We’re Looking For


We are looking for someone who is goal oriented and comfortable leading AMR’s recovery team. The Recovery Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership of the recovery team to meet daily, monthly, and annual production goals by fostering an environment in which employees are motivated to perform at the highest levels.


On a Typical Day, You’ll


  • Execute and contribute to strategies for the Recovery team to meet and sustain performance to hit the company's weekly, monthly and annual collection targets.
  • Provide day-to-day work direction to the recovery staff.
  • Produce and analyze daily and monthly productivity reports related to those goals.
  • Conduct regular reviews of employee performance versus their goals and provide feedback and coaching for improvement.
  • Conduct team and individual skill building training sessions with team members on topics such as FDCPA, collection techniques and practices, state and federal compliance, etc.
  • Coordinate with the Trainer to update and change training materials.
  • Act as back-up for team leads to deal with escalated calls, settlement responses, etc.
  • Monitor the status and inventory in all ques.
  • Perform additional related tasks and projects as required and assigned.

This position supervises the Recovery Specialists and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these positions. Performs supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

  • Effective and efficient time manager – concentrates efforts on the most appropriate priorities
  • Reassured and comfortable working with co-workers at all levels, including senior management
  • Skillful communicator; possess ability to adapt communication styles to target audiences


Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related area; experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 2-4 years of experience demonstrating knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job.
  • Extensive knowledge of collection laws required.
  • Extensive knowledge of HIPAA required.
