Description:
We welcome the potential candidate who has expertise in advanced materials, plastic processing, component design and manufacturing. The potential candidate for the Project Engineer position should have a BS or MS degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineer, material engineering or related field with at least 2 years’ practical working experiences.
Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
Will perform product development tasks under supervising from Senior Engineers to perform technical tasks and other assignments within schedule. May involve in operating plastic production machines, including plastic resin compounding, sheet or film extrusion, mono-directional film stretching, and/or injection molding, etc.
Requirements:
· Knowledge and experiences in plastic materials and/or plastic film/sheet extrusion process is highly beneficial but not required.
· Candidate with a MS degree in polymer, material, chemical, mechanical engineering is preferred but not required.
· Must be a permanent resident or citizen of US to be allowed to handle ITAR data
· Must be comfortable of working in the production environment and may occasionally need to lift heavy weights.
· Must possess good technical skills, demonstrate project execution ability and be able to focus on details to ensure project's success.
· Must be willing to be supervised and follow the instructions from senior engineers or team leader and perform the assigned tasks.
· Ability to execute project or task independently with minimum supervising is highly desired.
· Perform equipment and machine maintenance to ensure the machine operational at all times, prepare production report to identify the potential bottleneck and make recommendations on the improvements.
· Have the ability and desire to meet the project goals.
· Must be willing to take ownership, love to take challenges, have the ability to overcome technical barriers and be self-motivated
· Prepare monthly reports and other documents as needed
· Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines and handling multiple projects and assignments.
· Strong work ethic, good team player and able to handle pressure.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $100,000 annually depending upon the qualification, achievements, experiences, and job position.
Benefit includes paid holidays, sick days, vacation days, medical/dental insurance, performance bonus, company contributed 401K and profit sharing in accordance with the company’s policies.
