Kettmann Machining, Inc. is a well established medical device manufacturing company in South San Jose. We are looking for a Mill programmer with 5-axis experience to join our team. The ideal candidate can work with engineers and machinists to produce high quality programs adding to the efficiency and quality of precision machined components.
Position Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Producing high quality programs for for set up people on the shop floor, enabling them to work efficiently and need little to no corrections to make conforming parts.
• Create set up sheets and tool lists for set up people.
• Ability to pitch-in with set-ups if needed
• Very good understanding of GD&T.
• Must be familiar with machining many different types of material including aluminum, plastics, steels, and titanium.
• Experience designing and building fixtures when needed. Creating programs and modifying existing ones for increased efficiency.

Experience Requirements:

• 3+ years' experience programming (a willingness to learn ESPRIT is a must, experience with ESPRIT is a plus)
• Excellent computer programming skills.
• Proficient in GD&T (Geometric Dimension & Tolerances)
• Must have excellent time management, planning/organizing, and communication skills.
