Veridian Homes, an innovative company with an emphasis on smart growth and green built practices is seeking a Construction Management Intern to join our construction team for the summer! Under close supervision, the Construction Management Intern will work in a support role related to core functions of our homebuilding process. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining hands-on experience within residential construction!

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Reviewing joist layout vs. floor plan
• Assisting with various report generation and document control measures
• Taking and submitting weekly erosion control photos
• Assisting Personal Builders with frame and pre-walk inspections
• Working with the Personal Builders to update the construction schedule
• Checking completed models on a weekly basis
• Attending weekly BUILD Meetings with Trade Partners
• Assisting Production Managers and Personal Builders with administrative duties

The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good interpersonal and leadership skills and a positive attitude. Candidates must also be solutions-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task and follow priorities. Students applying for this opportunity must have completed a minimum of two years of undergraduate courses in construction management or project management. This is a paid, full-time internship opportunity and no benefits will be offered. The ability to provide your own transportation to work is a must.
