The Controller leads and directs the accounting and reporting for the business unit to ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial statements that are consistent with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures as well as ensuring an effective and efficient internal control environment.

What will you will do

 Responsible for financial operations at the business unit, including day-to-day operational accounting and monthly close process for a rapidly growing division

 Ensure accurate and complete financial records and reporting in compliance with US GAAP

 Collaborate with the corporate accounting team to standardize operational accounting processes and procedures

 Provide technical research in order to develop and document key accounting policies

 Work closely with newly acquired entities to understand and transition financial and accounting operations and assist with purchase accounting.

 Work closely with independent auditors and assist with the preparation of audit documentation

 Treasury and payables management

 Continually seek out process efficiencies

What you should bring

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance-related field

 Experience in managing international businesses with multiple entities

 Experience in early-stage growth companies

 Prior experience in SaaS industry or Healthcare

 Solid foundation and knowledge of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606

 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

 Integration-related experience is a plus

 Public accounting experience is a plus

 CPA is a plus

 Enthusiastic, personable, positive attitude with an appropriate sense of fun

 High integrity, a low ego, and the ability to take feedback

 Persistent, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work under limited supervision in a team environment
