Security Officer - Now Hiring Experienced Officers!

At GardaWorld, we know your compensation is important so we provide competitive hourly starting rates for every market we're in. We're growing our team here in Downtown St. Louis, Missouri!

Compensation: $20 / hour ($16.85 per hour + $3.15 / hour stipend)
We have multiple 40 hour per week shifts available:

• Shift 1: Wednesday - Sunday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm
• Shift 2: Saturday - Wednesday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
• Shift 3: Friday - Tuesday 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
• Shift 4: Thursday - Monday 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
  

About the job:

• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You're good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
• You will utilize de-escalation tactics and/or physical restraint as necessary.
• Safely escort visitors around the facility
• Help transport and escort prisoners between cells or facilities
• Not an entry-level position.

Your background:

• You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
• You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• You have at least 1 year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement/Corrections experience.
• You have a state license if required.
• You are confident and strong-willed, not averse to a dangerous situation.
• You have a proven track record of remaining calm in an emergency situation
• You have strong communication skills
• You can take and give orders effectively
