Who You Are: Tri County Tech's marketing workgroup seeks a full-time designer to create engaging content as our Creative Marketing Specialist. We're looking for an energetic go-getter who thrives in marketing technology, persuasive writing, and designing the perfect marketing piece. Can you be creative and organized at the same time? What You'll Possess

Qualified Candidates Will:

  • You'll possess a bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, journalism, communications, or other related fields. A high school diploma with a technology center certificate/associate's degree with experience could be considered.
  • You'll be very comfortable with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator +, and Google Analytics.
  • You'll have experience in web design and basic coding.
  • You'll be proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • You are detail-oriented and organized. You'll simultaneously work on several tasks related to all things TCT and manage them with ease. You're a project planner who meets deadlines.
  • You're a fanatic about great customer service. You'll exceed expectations and have excellent follow-up skills.
  • You'll be passionate about all things marketing and branding.
  • You'll quickly adopt new marketing technology and enjoy finding the latest Martech tools.
  • You'll take the initiative, seek out projects, and openly accept other duties as assigned.
  • You'll have excellent communication skills and understand that words do matter.
  • You thrive on the spark that happens when collaboration leads to innovation and enjoy a team environment.
  • You continually look for ways to improve your skillset and are always open to receiving feedback.

What You'll Do

Specialists focus on a specific function within a workgroup and have expertise in a specialized area. Moderately transactional with no cross-functional responsibilities and present-focused, a Specialist will operate with autonomy and decision-making in collaboration with their supervisor. Members of these groups must be willing to work as a team and handle multiple functions within their area of expertise. They implement change initiatives efficiently and effectively and have strong interpersonal communication skills. Frequently applies the use of discretion and independent judgment.

Essential Functions:

  • Extend Tri County Tech's reach by creating excellent and compelling content across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, print media, and digital media
  • Make data-driven decisions by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on marketing trends and target demographics.
  • Develop and maintain all district websites, including web pages that support interactive content.
  • Spend time in Adobe Creative Cloud, Constant Contact, and other marketing and project management systems.
  • Transform ideas into words, images, and videos quickly and often.
  • Write, proofread, and edit engaging copy.
  • Build relationships with instructors and other workgroups so we can share their stories, student testimonials, and campus events.
  • Other Job-Related Duties as Assigned by the Supervisor: The omission of duties does not exclude it from the position if similar, related, or a logical assignment to the job. In other words, you'll be helping out on spontaneous projects and opportunities not listed above.

Terms of Employment: Twelve months; salary to be established by the Board of Education.

Evaluation: Performance evaluated by the Director of Marketing per Board policy.
