Position Description
Steel City Drones is looking to hire a full time employee local to the Pittsburgh area. This person will work remotely as well as at our Office in Greentree/Carnegie as needed. We are looking to hire a high Energic person to serve many hats and roles.

Steel City Drones is a Nation Wide company that started Full time in 2016. We are a one stop shop for Drones that currently has 6 instructors that travel all across the Country. We offer the following services.

• Consultation
• Drone Equipment sales
• Comprehensive Training all Across the United States
• Drone Program Development
• We have a large Youtube Presence on the Internet with hundreds of Clients all over the

United States. Our clients include Public Safety, Engineering, Survey and Utility sectors.

Anticipated start date - Between March 15th and early April.

Schedule and work hours

• 9 am to 5pm Monday through Friday
• Flexible to work an occasional weekend day if needed.

Job responsibilities

• Answering customer phone calls and interacting with customers and potential clients.
• Placing orders with Vendors and fulfilling customer orders.
• Working with Quickbooks to generate Quotes and invoices
• Demoing Equipment that may require some level of travel.
• Working with our Web Developer on advertising and marketing campaigns
• Updating product info on our Company Website.
• Supporting and coordinating with our instructors in the field.
• Researching new equipment in the drone industry and potentially testing new gear.
• Obtaining Drone Media for clients as needed.

Required Experience and Desired Skill Level

• Minimum of 1 year of drone flying experience owning your own drone on a personal or professional level. We do offer on the job training as needed.
• Strong Customer Service Skills. DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT HAVING MET THIS REQUIREMENT.
• Strong desire to test new equipment and stay on top of the latest drone technology.
• Strong documentation, communication and computer skills.
• Experience with DJI drones is a plus.
• Part 107 certificate is a plus but has a willing to obtain the certificate if needed.
• Clean Driving Record
• Local to Pittsburgh and willing to work at our office in Greentree/Carnegie as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
