Job Description :

We are GROWING! We are looking for long term staff that want a career in the insurance world. We are looking for Customers Service Representative, to work with outside agents and agencies, to transfer data from outside sources to our database.

Job Description:
  • The ideal candidate will be computer savvy and an accurate typist with a keen eye for detail. Preferred not required. We will train you.
  • You will report to your building manager or another senior manager at Continental Insurance. Understanding of data confidentiality principles is imperative.
  • Again we are hiring! Even if you have applied in the past PLEASE reapply.
  • The company will rely on you for having accurate and updated data that are easily accessible through a digital database.
Responsibilities:
  • Transfer data from paper formats into computer files or database systems using keyboards, or data recorders.
  • Type in data provided directly from customer/agency.
  • Create spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes.
  • Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
  • Update existing data.
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as Customer Service Representative.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel etc.).
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware.
  • Basic understanding of databases.
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers is strongly preferred (Not Required).
