About the Job

Hardware Resources is seeking an experienced, motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our manufacturing-operations team and become a key contributor to our continued rapid growth. This associate will work closely with our manufacturing team to develop and manage databases which support day to day manufacturing operations and our continuous improvement efforts. The analyst will construct and maintain both databases and dashboards for tracking performance. These databases and dashboards will be used measure, analyze, improve and control key performance indicators for Safety – People – Quality – Delivery – Productivity and Costs. This position will work closely with Director of Manufacturing and facility continuous improvement leadership to develop and execute a data collection plan which support our continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities of the Database Management & Analytics Specialist

• Develop an understanding of manufacturing processes and how metrics are used to manage day to day operations
• Develop an understanding of key performance metrics and how data are used to manage day to day operations, as well as support the execution of Lean – Six Sigma continuous improvement methodology.
• Participate in the construction of databases used to report metrics and facilitate the continuous improvement process
• Frequently produce time-based reports to key stakeholders on the performance of operations at our manufacturing locations.
• Update project timelines and assigned tasks for key projects to help drive accountability from task owners.

Additional project management responsibilities

• Will be a key contributor and serve on multiple continuous improvement teams assisting with data collection and analysis to support the measurement and analysis phase of the continuous improvement process.
• Take on additional data collection and reporting tasks to support projects and day and day operations.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Very strong project management skills, including excellent organizational and time management skills
• Very strong Excel skills – an absolute requirement
• Power-Bi skills a plus. Willingness to develop this and other data collection, analysis and display skills.
• Experience working with databases and report generation
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience working across multiple departments
• Self-motivated, results-driven professional who consistently delivers high quality work

Education and Employment Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or a technical field
