Job Description

Route Driver, running established routes each day delivering fresh cooking oil and picking up containers of used cooking oil.

QUALIFICATIONS

For our Route Driver position you need to have the ability to read, ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Basic mathematical skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Good communication skills.

EXPERIENCE:

Our Route Drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience in a box truck. Route Drivers must have a clean driving record that meets insurance requirements.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Our Route Drivers are required at Minimum to have a chauffeur license and DOT Medical Card is required

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to frequently maneuver 117 - 250 lbs.

Must be able frequently walk and stand

Must be able to work in an outside environment while tolerating extreme temperatures (hot or cold depending upon season and depot location).

Must be able to wear all required PPE, (steel toed boots, as required).

Must be able to wear company supplied uniforms.

Must be able to occasionally maneuver an appliance dolly with tanks weighing up to 250 lbs.

Ability to climb in and out of truck multiple times a day.
