Certified Dental Assistant with experience working in a dental office needed for busy private specialty dental office. We are looking for a smart, hard working individual with a great personality who can provide excellent customer service for our patients and is comfortable communicating both in person and on the phone when needed. The applicant should work well in a team and be easily trainable. Basic computer skills including typing are an essential part of the job.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Preparing for the days schedule.
• Setting up and cleaning treatment rooms.
• Taking patients back to the treatment room.
• Getting a history from the patient.
• Removing sutures.
• Training patients on oral hygiene.
• Assisting the doctor chair-side with surgical procedures.
• Following up with patients on the phone.
• Assisting other team members.
• Taking radiographs.
• Taking photos.
• Entering notes into the computer.
• Cleaning common areas.
• Cleaning and sterilizing instruments.
• Taking impressions and pouring up models.

Our working hours are currently:

• Monday: 8:30am-3pm
• Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 8:30am-4:30pm
• Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm
