This position provides account managment and growth of our small/medium business segment. Successful candidate needs to perform routine site visits, interface with technology and have integral project managmenet skills to delegate tasks and communicate with a team.
Description: What you'll be doing:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Leasing is responsible for meeting and exceeding Sabey Data Center (SDC) leasing goals. This position will be primarily focused on the account management and growth of our small/medium business segment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Responsible for selling data center services across SDC’s national portfolio.
  • Sell at the executive level with demonstrated success presenting to board level CxO’s
  • Negotiate complex, long term, multimillion dollar contracts.
  • Drive metrics, through a CRM such as Salesforce.com and provide weekly forecast updates to sales management.
  • Manage sales channels such as those with brokerage companies that provide exclusive leasing services and ensure that they are delivering the right quantity and quality of new tenants.
  • Build and manage relationships with local partners and contractors to leverage their customer relationships
  • Attend, exhibit and/or speak at local, regional, and national Committees, Trade Shows, and Conferences

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Ability to perform routine site visitsmay include navigating construction sites, ascending ladders, and safely traveling around scaffolding
  • Ability to interface with technology, operate a computer, and navigate a CRM software
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with tenants, potential clients, and all levels of Sabey employees.
  • Project management skills – must be able to delegate tasks, construct and follow a timeline, and meet deadlines
  • Travel to and from various Sabey locations, including New York and Washington

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of consultative sales experience in the Data Center and/or Real Estate industry

MINIMUM COMPETENCIES
  • Excellent communication and people management skills – must be able to successfully manage and maintain positive client relationships
  • Experience using salesforce or a comparable CRM
  • Advanced knowledge of the English language- ability to demonstrate strong written and oral comprehension and expression
  • Ability to focus on the big picture, including proactively identifying developing issues and potential solutions
  • Working knowledge of sales best practices
  • Excellent client relationship management skills
