Director of Plant operations

Job Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two (2) year college or technical school in a related field.
• Leadership/supervisory position experience, Maintenance or Plant Operations.
• Acute care hospital experience
• Knowledge of Joint Commission standards
• Knowledge of State of TN regulations, as applicable

Preferred If:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Technical licenses/certifications, ie HVAC, electrical

Job Description

This position is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling the activities of the plant operations and maintenance functions which are necessary in maintaining the physical structures, HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, utility systems and grounds of this facility in an operative and safe working condition.

Coordinates, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.

Ensures that utility and structural repairs takes place as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.

Assists as needed in as well as inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.

Coordinates the moving of items within/between locations and from/to storage.

Monitors operations for efficiency and safety, ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are met/followed.

Develops production schedules to meet internal goals as well as expectations of customers.

Oversees production staff, including hiring/training of personnel.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
