We are seeking an energetic Industrial and Systems Engineering Intern to join the Production & Engineering Department based at its corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA. This is a temporary 3-month position with up to 40 hours per week. Career opportunities available following the completion of the internship program.

The Prudential Overall Supply Internship Program provides the opportunity for interns to apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting when given carefully planned and monitored work experience. Opportunities will be given in the student's focus area, as well as the opportunity to learn about production and plant operations, customer service, route delivery, and corporate sales, if availability permits. Our goal is to provide personal and professional development that will equip individuals to realize ongoing career growth.

This individual will be involved various activities, including:

• Assisting Corporate Production Manager with various projects.
• Time Studies and Documenting Standard Work.
• Process Flow Mapping and Value Stream Mapping.
• Assisting in data collection and Compiling various KPI reports using MS Excel.
• Assisting Corporate Production Manager with Continuous Improvement Program.
• Some company travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a college degree or recent college graduate in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Software skills in: Excel, Access (Microsoft 365), Visio; Bonus- MySQL, Auto CAD.
• Possesses knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving Methodologies, SQDC KPIs.
• Able to multitask and detail oriented.
