We are looking for a Clinical Regulatory Product Owner to focus on our EverHealth Team. EverHealth provides modern end-to-end solutions for healthcare providers. About You:

You are passionate about technology, healthcare, and creating clinical products that meet regulatory compliance. You are excellent at partnering with an engineering team to turn your ideas into working products. You are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and excited to merge our product vision with complex regulatory requirements to create formal technical product requirements documents.

As a Clinical Regulatory Product Owner:

  • Work closely with developers, other product managers, product owners, and key stakeholders, including UX/UI, Engineering, Support/Services, Marketing, Sales, QA, and other members supporting regulatory compliance across EverHealth and EverCommerce
  • Define and drive use cases, user personas, product features/requirements, roadmaps, and release plans for regulatory product features
  • Maintain regular communication with key team members and manage team communication channels
  • Perform regulatory requirements analysis and product requirements documents
  • Build business models when needed and validate findings through data analysis and make recommendations
  • Balance the needs of the business, technology capability, and customers

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, and designers to refine high-level plans into detailed requirements for development projects.
  • Create detailed tickets, user stories, and well-defined acceptance criteria.
  • Manage project plans and SDLC to meet product release goals in a Kanban development environment.
  • Groom and prioritize backlog and product requests from multiple sources to deliver the most value to the organization.
  • Represent the 'Voice of the Customer' internally, serving as the internal subject matter expert for the development team.
  • Ensure that all software platforms have the information, planning, and support necessary to meet regulatory compliance requirements on time.
  • Provide training sessions and regulatory updates to relevant colleagues to ensure compliance efforts incorporate the most recent regulatory developments.
  • Maintain domain experience with CMS and ONC-established standards and other criteria for structured data that our EHRs must meet to qualify for use in the Medicare Promoting Interoperability Program and merit-based incentive program.
  • Stay proactively educated on changes with MIPS & MVPs and requirements that need to be considered to meet standards.
  • Identify and evaluate compliance requirements for new and existing products or features.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.
  • Establish and execute specific OKRs and critical processes.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years as a product owner in the healthcare industry, specifically in Clinical Regulatory and Compliance.
  • Must be versed in CMS & ONC regulations and standards.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to constant change and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to channel the voice of the customer into practical recommendations.
  • Self-starter who can work independently, adapt quickly to changing priorities and needs, and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Understanding technical aspects of product development, including communicating effectively with product managers and development teams.

Where: Remote, US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $70K to $80K USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
