Boeing’s Creative and Digital studio, part of Communications Management Services, is seeking an Experienced Photographer to help tell the Boeing story through compelling imagery in Tukwila, WA.

As Boeing’s principal photographer in the Puget Sound, you will capture the dignity of our people, the awe of our products, and the aim of our mission: to protect, connect, and explore our world and beyond, so that all of humanity can take flight. The position reports to the studio’s Senior Manager of Creative.

Position Responsibilities:

• Defines image requirements and plans and executes photographic events in-studio and in the field, including quick-turn uploads for social channels

• Serves myriad internal stakeholders: commercial, corporate, defense, and global services

• Collaborates congenially with creative directors, designers, writers, and project managers

• Ensures that imagery adheres to brand standards, and complies with safety and security protocols

• Uploads images with metadata to in-house asset library; assists with image search requests

• Manages photography equipment; ensures gear is in working order; recommends new technologies

• Contributes to studio’s photo/video “community of practice”; gives presentations that educate and inspire

• Helps build a creative culture that’s inclusive, open, and supportive

• Seeks constructive feedback from colleagues; exemplifies a growth mindset

The successful candidate will be nimble, flexible, and ready for a variety of shoots, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Associate’s degree or higher

• 5+ years of experience with professional video/photography

• 5+ years of experience with Adobe Lightroom

• 5+ years of experience with PhotoShop

• Must have a portfolio

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s degree in photography or related field

• Proficiency with modern photography equipment

• Experience in aviation and/or manufacturing industries

• Familiarity with Photo Mechanic

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $81,600 - $110,400
