You will be expected to draft pleadings, discovery, and motion practice, meet with clients from the initial consultation, and handle your own cases and clients provided by the Firm. You will be meeting with our attorneys and professional staff regularly to discuss practice development, case strategies, and bringing our cases to the next level. We are hands-on and we will be discussing issues and concerns as they arise, including advice on your development of skill areas and substantive knowledge. Responsibilities:

Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, marital settlement agreements, judgements, and orders for a high volume of cases

Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process
Handle the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings as needed

Qualifications:
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• 2+ years of experience in family law
• A Family Law Specialist is a plus
• Winning track record
• Bright and creative professional with a high desire to succeed
• Exemplary client service skills
• Detail-oriented with strong drafting and negotiating skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 per year
