ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review prescriptions issued by Physician, or other authorized prescriber to assure accuracy and efficacy
• Supervise pharmacy workers engaged in preparing, packaging, and labeling all medications
• Dispense prescribed medications for patient care
• Answers questions and provides information to patients on drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper storing of prescribed medications
• Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance and security of controlled substances
• Enter and review data such as patient name, prescribed medication, maintain pharmacy files, control inventory, and evaluate any needed prior authorizations
• Instruct technicians and other personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy operations
• Monitor and oversee return-to-stock and expired goods procedures
• Understand proper reimbursement on all claims or receivables outstanding
• Ensure that the quality of the service to customers meets or exceeds company standards

Job Requirements

• FL State Pharmacist License
• No charges or citations
• Experience as a Pharmacist
• Proficient with pharmacy dispensing software. Knowledge of RX30 is a major plus.
• Specialty/mail order pharmacy experience preferred
• Reliable and consistent in timeliness, attendance, and quality of work
• Present yourself professionally on the phone and in person
• Able to manage a group in a team environment, and develop a positive work culture

Pay: $40.39 - $74.43 per hour
