Job Title: Graphic Designer

Reports to: Director of Brand Marketing

Location: Medford, OR, In-Office Position only

The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. They are detail-oriented, confident, and proactive, with exceptional creative problem- solving skills. They are creative and have an excellent eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Create visual text and imagery concepts, by using computer software, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate customers. They develop the overall layout and production design for marketing materials
• Uphold branding guidelines and pillars across multiple categories and disciplines to include menu boards, print/POP, advertising, apparel, swag, video, digital, and traditional media.
• Communicate with requesters to ensure that all information needed to complete a project is provided.
• Study design briefs, determine requirements, and conceptualize visuals based on the brief.
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas. Amend designs after feedback and ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing team and copywriters.
• Ensure that all projects are accurate, effective, and developed in a timely fashion.
• Look for continuous improvement opportunities in the creative development and project management process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date weekly project report status.
• Assure that all projects follow the proper approval process.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time to multi-task efficiently
• Keep the marketing team apprised on a regular basis of the overall workload, potential issues, issues, etc.

Qualifications:

• Excellent time management, project management, and organizational skills
• Bachelor’s Degree Required – Graphic Arts, Design, Communications or Related Field
• 2-3 years of experience
• Computer fluency in Mac and PC
• Software proficiency: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite:

Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, and other graphic design software

• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, typography, multi-media development
• Limited Travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.92 - $25.42 per hour
