This position will work on graphic materials for both Shockey Consulting and 80 Santa Fe Art Gallery.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

You’re creative, resourceful, tech savvy and skilled in graphic design. There will be an emphasis on social media grahpics, so you’re skilled and creative on a variety of platforms. Love for you to have some video production experience. You will also do design work for client projects in the form of RFPs, charts, reports, graphics, signage and other elements.

You enjoy working in a small, open office environment and can collaborate with others to get any info that helps tell the story, then work independently to bring your ideas to life. You can work with a high degree of autonomy and take a general idea or concept and turn it into something that’s engaging/entertaining/informative. You have a sense of humor and a can-do attitude that drives your work to completion. You can efficiently manage your time to push through the more mundane projects that get the work done, then switch gears to jump into the work that lets you spread your creative wings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create engaging external marketing communications materials, including social media, website graphics, print, photo and video assets, email communications, advertising materials, Request for Proposal responses, flyers, infographics, presentations, yards signs and more.
• Appropriately convey Shockey and 80 Santa Fe’s brand identity in all materials and consistently meet all brand and style standards.
• Collaborate with the team to identify solutions through creative marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Help manage, organize, and maintain accurate and current storage of digital assets, images, art and project files (we use Sharepoint).
• Assist with community outreach events throughout the year with creative signage and participation materials.
• Occasionally manage print projects by working with vendors to obtain estimates and production timelines.
• Keep up with current design trends, techniques, platforms, products and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Skilled in Adobe Design Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator), email layout (Mailchimp), and social media platforms.
• Possess a strong understanding of how to create designs for print and digital formats.
• Work well within a team setting and manage projects independently.
• Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication, project, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Photography and video editing, writing a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
