The Graphic and Video Coordinator reports directly to the Communications Manager and is part of the Development Department. This position, as part of the Communications Team, works to raise awareness about RAM and its work, particularly through collateral and material design.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop awareness about RAM’s mission and its operations through graphic design, brand management, and marketing

• Work with local communities and RAM staff to promote RAM clinics

• Work with Communications team to develop and manage RAM’s promotional materials, including RAM’s fact sheets, backgrounders, clinic banners, flyers, folders, wrist bands, direct mailers, email campaigns, and RAM Magazine

• Support fundraising team with graphic needs on fundraising campaigns

• Work directly with community host group (CHG) promotions teams for clinics to ensure they have sufficient promotional assets needed for clinic operations

• Design and manage clinic operation flyers, including clinic flyers and volunteer recruitment assets

• Manage and develop RAM’s brand

• Lead RAM’s monthly promotions trainings

• Maintain relevant and up-to-date knowledge about brand and marketing trends and utilize these to support RAM’s mission when appropriate

• Travel to and attend RAM clinics to capture patient and volunteer stories through video, writing, and photography, and help manage media and VIP visitors on-site at clinics

• Work with communications team to manage website updates requests from RAM’s internal team

• Assist the Operations Department with graphics needs, including internal guidelines, manuals, presentation templates, and recruitment assets

• Build and maintain healthy strategic relationships with direct supervisor, personnel, volunteers and partners that would benefit department and organizational objectives

• Work with Communications Manager to plan, develop, and implement measurable goals

• Perform tasks and duties as directed by your management team

Preferred Qualifications:

• College level degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Journalism, Design, or relevant field

• Proven work experience as a graphic designer

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

• Experience with visual communication principles

• Familiarity with web design and content management systems

• An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines

• A "can do” attitude

• Strong photo editing and Layout skills

• Attention to detail

• Strong communications and organizational skills

• Willingness and ability to travel and work nonconventional work hours, especially on weekends

• A passion for helping people

• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and perform a variety of tasks as directed by the department head

Education & Experience:

• 1-2 years of experience working in graphic design, marketing or communications

• College-Level degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Journalism, Design, or relevant field

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand/sit for extended periods of time

• Must be able to lift 20lbs.

• Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to drive RAM vehicles

• Must be proficient in verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills

Pay: $37,492.00 per year
