JOB TITLE: Human Resources Manager / Payroll

DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

REPORTS TO: General Manager

WORK HOURS: Days

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 21 years or older.

At least 5 years of experience or equivalent of education and experience.

Mathematical skills required.

Requires excellence in patience and self-discipline.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to read, write and speak English.

Ability to register with Nevada Gaming Commission.

Ability to perform the physical demands.

Ability to perform essential duties as outlined below.

Must pass a background check.

Must pass a drug/alcohol test.

Must comply with Max Casino policies and procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 100% indoor, occasional loud noise level.

WORK PACE:Fast paced based on business needs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Create, manage, and maintain strategic hiring processes to identify, recruit, and retain high producing and high potential employees across all departments.

Review and coordinate candidate applications, conduct phone interviews/ screenings as needed, refer candidates to hiring managers, and participate in applicant interviews as needed

Reconcile all monthly insurance billings, to include medical, dental, vision and supplemental.

Revise and update yearly employee handbook.

Perform yearly open enrollment meetings for all employees.

Revise and update yearly job descriptions.

Stay informed of all current compliance requirements, employment and state laws.

Report all new termination and changes to Gaming Control Board on a monthly basis.

Order all office supplies.

Respond to human resources-related inquiries.

Prosses payroll for 35–50 employees.

Check employee timecards on a daily basis.

Run and create payroll reports.

Pay company invoices.

Call venders for invoices or statements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
