Inside Sales Representatives provide prompt, courteous service to customers, processes project estimates, sales, and return payments to accounts. This position will require cooperation with all supervisory, sales, production, and engineering staff.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers, making outbound calls to potential customers, and following up on leads.
• Answer potential customers' questions and send additional information as requested.
• Develop relationships with existing customers, utilizing account management skills.
• Identify solutions and up sell opportunities to existing customers.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction with every potential and existing customer.
• Resolve customer problems, complaints, and issues promptly in a positive manner that will retain and promote customer loyalty.
• Take a pro-active approach with incoming inquiries, ensuring a responsive service to customers, including parts identification, pricing and quotes.
• Utilize the in-house CRM/customer database, calling on dormant accounts and raising awareness of product offerings.
• Collaborate with internal departments, distributors, and customers to ensure timelines and specifications are accurate and in line with customer expectations.
• Follow up on open estimates, and possible revisions needed in order to negotiate a solution to meet customers’ needs.
• Research prices for specialty items to obtain appropriate cost to save for future estimates.
• Maintain/update quote log weekly with all critical activities on every customer quote.
• Work closely with all members of purchasing, engineering, and project management staff, to ensure customer’s needs are met and estimates and projects are completed and delivered on time.
• Keep up with product and service information and updates.
• Staying informed about competing products and services.
• Perform additional duties as requested

Skills/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required. Some college/technical courses preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experienced working with Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft products
• 1-2 years Estimating, Inside Sales or Purchasing experience
• Background in manufacturing helpful
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, prints and specifications
• Experience estimating commercial and industrial products
• Analytical, organized and detail oriented
