Inside Sales Representative

POSITION SUMMARY:

SC Strategic Solutions (SCSS) is an established software company looking for an individual to be a part of our existing sales team. We are very interested in individuals who have had one to two years experience in selling software solutions in the B2B market. At SCSS, we take the success of our customers incredibly seriously and have developed a strong reputation in several market spaces. Due to this fact, this position has been created to support our growth and increase our revenue by adding new customers and upselling new solutions to our current customer base. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overall, assigned to a territory of accounts with responsibility for retaining and growing revenue through account management, cross-sell and upsell
  • Achieve total territory revenue goal and new product sales goals on a monthly and annual basis
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities within assigned territory and bring to closure through working with prospects
  • Cold Call to set new prospect appointments within defined territory
  • Develop a deep knowledge of business product and service lines as directed by the Director of Sales and Support Team resources in the sales process
  • Maintain market and customer knowledge to stay abreast of trends and developments within our target markets
  • Develop a broad understanding of key competitors and be articulate in differentiating SCSS from our competition within your accounts and in the sales process
  • Schedule annual meetings/account reviews with key decision makers and other key stakeholders at an account before their annual renewal
  • Work independently to build pipeline and territory, while contributing to a team, developing excellent and long-standing client relationships and consistently meeting monthly/annual sales objectives
  • Wherever possible secure account and territory revenue in committed, multi-year agreements/bundles
  • Identify and resolve customer issues for successful resolution in conjunction with our Support Team
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales pipeline data in CRM
  • Build relationship and close sales by remotely via email and telephone/video contact with customers

  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Strong cold calling and remote presentation skills
  • Solid collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Ability to travel to tradeshows and client locations for onsite demonstrations with outside sales team if necessary

Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year plus commissions. Total on target salary range is $60,000 - $75,000+

Experience:

  • One to two years experience in selling software solutions in the B2B market
