Customer Service/ Inside Sales Representative

(Construction or building material experience a plus)

Manufacturers Reserve Supply is a wholesale distributor of high-end building supplies. We specialize in selling building materials to lumber yards and retail business operations. MRS has been in business for over 90th years and is continuing to grow with a dedicated team to offer expertise in our products and great customer service.

We are currently seeking a Customer Service/ Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This person will become an expert in decking, siding and building needs. A background in the construction field or understanding of the basic building process is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate.

This role will be responsible for providing information and excellent customer service to all clients, processing orders, providing support on products and services.

This is an on-site position.

Job Responsibilities:

· Handle incoming calls, process orders and provide quotes in a timely and accurate manner

· Assisting customers in developing solutions to meet their needs.

· Determining customer’s needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.

· Establish a rapport with new customers and nurturing relationships with long term customers.

· Troubleshoot and resolve customer inquiries

· Provide support and maintain up to date knowledge on products and services

· Generate new business through cross-selling, up-selling, sales add-on’s and various promotional give campaigns

· Provide support to and partner with Outside Sales Team and other internal departments as required to ensure 100% customer satisfaction

Advancement plan to become knowledge specialist for products with pay increases and bonuses.

Job Qualifications:

· Experience within customer service or call center environment.

· Experience in sales or inside sales.

· Strong computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook)

· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a pleasant and professional phone demeanor

· Must possess a high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

· Must be a team player, self-motivated and be able to collaborate effectively with other departments

· **Prior experience within the building materials is a plus, but is not required

· Pre-Employment requirements include: assessment test, drug test, background check and reference check
