Corbion is looking for an Intern who is currently or recently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program with an interest marketing and strategy development and has a passion for the food industry.

The Marketing Communications intern will spend their summer as an integrated part of the North American Marketing Communications team and will provide support for 2-3 individual projects. These projects will be strategic, creative and analytical in nature, and will provide experience in developing and crafting communication strategies that contribute to the broader strategic imperatives. The goal of this internship is to provide the intern with a learning experience, while allowing the intern to add their unique perspective to help the business teams achieve their strategic goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of marketing campaign initiatives across various communication channels – e-mail, social, digital, etc.
• Provides support for copywriting, editing and proofing communications materials, press releases and media pitches
• Manage the upkeep and relevancy of the internal resource center
• Collaborate with other individuals from the Global Marketing and SFS functions to execute projects and tasks
• Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by department teammates

Skills, Qualifications, and Education Requirements:

• Must be current Bachelors or Masters candidate with a major / concentration in Marketing, Food science, Agricultural communications, Business or other related degrees
• Leadership/self-starting capabilities with strong strategic thinking skills
• Ability to work independently, self-motivated, proactive approach to project management
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Curious, confident and articulate
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
• Analyze, organize, and problem solve frequently and efficiently
• Desire to learn more about Marketing communications
• Skill in Adobe creative suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Comfortable with video conferencing as a means to collaborate
