Beach Investment Management, an affiliate of The Beach Company, is seeking the assistance of a motivated individual to aid with the operations of its Southeast Multifamily Acquisition Fund. Experience may be gained in acquisition analysis and underwriting, asset management and investor relations.

The position would allow the candidate a unique opportunity to simultaneously witness the operations of a 78-year-old, Top-40 private company in South Carolina, while being engaged in operations of a new team and business endeavor. Beyond the general duties outlined below, the responsibilities are taken on by the prospective candidate. This could include a variety of tasks from underwriting exposure to investor relations work.

General duties include:

• Inventory prospective deal offerings for the target markets
• Maintain a competitive set database in excel
• Conduct market research for a variety of internally identified metrics
• Perform financial underwriting for acquisitions and renovation projects
• Perform asset management reviews to measure performance improvements

Requirements:

• Real Estate focused degree or educational path
• Full experience with Microsoft Office Suite. This would mainly consist of Outlook, OneNote, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week
