Junior Graphic Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral on a daily basis
• Ensure projects are completed with quality and on schedule
• Follow creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines for each client
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field
• New graduate with a good portfolio
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other graphic design software
• Examples of graphics that show understanding of design software
• Analytical skills
• Eye for detail
• The ability to work well under pressure
• Work closely with account executives to schedule and monitor all projects
• Good time management skills
• Perform miscellaneous tasks, as directed by agency owner

DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO:

• Communicate knowledge of assigned product(s)
• Effectively check and approve work on press
• Effectively collect electronic materials for output
• Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time
• Manage challenging situations both internally and with the client

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 per year
