Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Junior Oracle DBA to join their team in the Indianapolis, IN area. This successful resource will initially be responsible for assisting in an upgrade to a newer database version. The JR DBA will also assist with typical DBA day to day tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Install, set up, run and import new databases
  • Perform patching
  • Provide general maintenance and monitoring
  • Run scripts and performance tuning
  • Start up and lock down the database
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 1-4 years of experience with Oracle
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to participate in an on call rotation
PREFERRED SKILLS/CHARACTERISTICS:
  • SQL skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
  • Experience in designing, building, administering, and tuning databases
TERMS:
