Job Description – Insurance Customer Service Representative

At Green Checkmark, we work with Insurance Agency Owners by helping them with their recruiting & hiring needs. We have an immediate opening for an Allstate P&C Licensed Customer Service Representative working for an agency in Castle Rock, CO. The position is full-time, Mon-Fri, salary + bonuses, benefits, paid training and for the right individual, a hybrid remote schedule.

What’s the role? You will be providing extraordinary customer service to clients by building and developing customer relationships within the community. In addition, you will promote and sell products including home, auto, toy and umbrella plus there’s so much more! You will also establish relationships with industry partners and most importantly you will develop the necessary skills to become an extraordinary customer service representative

RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):

  • Conducting annual policy reviews
  • Consistently manage large amounts of incoming calls
  • Walk customer’s through claims process
  • Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying customer’s complaint; determining the cause
  • Recommend /sell potential products or services by analyzing customer’s needs.
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up regarding their needs.
  • Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Proactive problem solving
  • Maintain customer records, using automated systems.

SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

Our successful customer service sales agents have the following skills and abilities:

  • Must have a current Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance License
  • Proven track record in customer service environment
  • Solid problem solving skills
  • Ability to build excellent relationships and effective rapport with client
  • Detail orientated and dedicated to customer service
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize, respond to customers' needs and handle time sensitive issues
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
