Note: This is a hands-on role where will be our marketing department in conjunction with 1 to 2 Agencies plus potential free-lance support to complement your skillset. We’re an established debt-free firm with best-in class software that’s at an exciting inflection point poised to target and conquer 4 new verticals and realize some amazing growth. This isn’t the opportunity for someone that wants to lead a marketing team/department or prefers project management. But this is the perfect opportunity for someone that loves marketing, is excited to jump in and help us rule new markets, work with a high-performing team, and be well-rewarded for his/her impact.

Who You Are…

• 5+ years’ experience as a marketing professional with bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with prior SaaS experience required.
• Solid grasp on WPO, SEM, SEO, PPC, HTML, CSS, Targeted Display Ads, Video Advertising, Social Media, A/B Testing, and preferably experience with HubSpot, WordPress and MailChimp.
• Excellent hands-on strategist and problem solver with top-notch research skills and a solid grasp of both traditional and digital marketing strategies.
• Note: This is a hands-on role. You will be our marketing department.
• You thrive in an environment where the goals are clear, but you have the freedom to create and drive our roadmap.
• The ability to develop strategies and messaging to successfully connect with our target audience.
• Experience in publishing industry is a plus.

Your Mission…

• Collaborate with leadership and sales team to define and execute our marketing strategies to reach target audiences and maximize ROI.
• Complete comprehensive research to develop a strong understanding of target audiences, business drivers and competitive forces.
• Develop marketing KPI metrics (i.e. CPA, CLV, MCROI, Engagement Rate, Brand Mentions etc.) and utilize marketing testing protocols to enhance performance.
• Leverage consultants/specialists to execute promotional events and campaigns to maximize results and continually grow your skillset.
• Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
