About the Job

EBSCO invites you to apply to participate in our Marketing internship program, running late-May through mid-August 2023. Marketing interns will take on a variety of Marketing responsibilities and tasks to acquire and practice practical marketing skills, as well as gain experience using leading marketing techniques.

Responsibilities

• With the guidance of a Marketing mentor, the Marketing intern will engage in:
  • Exposure to Pragmatic Institute© marketing activities to become familiar with this popular industry framework for creating and marketing successful products, and to learn the impact of Pragmatic on important marketing practices
  • Writing copy for emails, social media, web pages and presentations to practice industry-specific copywriting for different purposes and to gain feedback on writing skills
  • Research and/or analysis on a variety of platforms to practice skills in research and to learn and experience the impact of research on future marketing plans and specific assets
  • Wrap-up presentation for colleagues at the conclusion of the program

Qualifications

A successful Marketing intern will be enrolled in an accredited college/university degree program or relevant certificate program. They will be a curious and enthusiastic problem-solver with a strong understanding of marketing principles. This intern must be willing to collaborate and practice independent work, as well as learn and practice new industry-specific marketing skills.
