BDMI is looking for a dynamic and resourceful venture capital MBA Summer Intern to work with our investment team in New York.

Opportunity:

We are looking for a Summer Intern (some VC, startup or other relevant experience preferred) to work with our NYC investment team on projects ranging from evaluating new deals to helping our existing portfolio companies. The ideal candidate is someone passionate about innovation, technology and the startup community with excellent critical thinking, financial and analytical skills.

Responsibilites may include:

• Analysis of market and technology trends
• Research, identify, and source new deal flow
• Due diligence on new investments including market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling
• Consulting/supporting portfolio companies
• Preparing presentations for senior management, shareholders, and project partners
• Assist the investment team as needed

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• 
  Candidates require the following:
  • Relevant work experience (2 - 3 years), preferably from TMT investment banking or a technology/media startup, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or relevant business development experience
  • Exceptional finance and financial modeling skills
  • Strong technical background and/or startup experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Current enrollment in a rigorous, top-tier MBA program
• Candidates must also be:
  • Passionate about technology and digital innovation
  • Able to work well in an unstructured environment
