Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant

• Room patients and take vitals
• Complete patient paperwork and check the MA voicemail line
• Perform patient call backs and medication refill authorizations
• Perform suture and staple removal
• Work with providers to address patient concerns
• Other MA duties as needed

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant

• 3+ years of recent medical assistant experience required
• Staple / suture removal experience highly preferred
• Orthopedics, trauma, or general surgery experience preferred
• Medical Assistant diploma or certification required
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant – Full-time, $20-$23 per hour, Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Join an award-winning medical group!
