Description

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide outstanding customer service to improve patient satisfaction and relationship.
• Obtain patient vitals, medical histories, medication lists, surgical history.
• Prepare patient electronic charts.
• Assist the healthcare provider with examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine procedures under established protocols including but not limited to:

• Venipuncture
• EKG
• Therapeutic injections

• Perform various in-house clinical tests including but not limited to:

• COVID
• Strep
• Flu

• Maintain stock of medication and medical supplies.
• Practice safety, environmental, and infectious control methods.
• Assist with front office support as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment including lobby, patient restrooms and patient exam rooms.
• Any additional duties assigned.

Required/Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant program graduate or 1 year prior experience as a Medical Assistant
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• CPR or BLS certificate
• Medical terminology
• eClinicalWorks experience (preferred)

Schedule

This position reports to the Quick Care Med Office Manager. The schedule is 4 10 hour shifts (8:45am - 7:30pm) alternating weekends (weekend hours are 8:45am - 5:00pm). Quick Care Med is open 7 days a week.

Working Conditions:

This position may require evening, weekend or holiday work. This position requires many hours in a sitting or standing position. This position may require travel to various office locations. Quick Care Med is a COVID testing and treatment site. Flexible schedule.
