$5,000 Sign-on bonus following 90 days after date of hire

Center for Neurosciences, Southern Arizona’s largest and longest standing neuroscience group practice, is looking for an Nurse Practitioner to work with our Neurological Team. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and ready to hit the ground running in an exciting work environment. Primary responsibilities will be patient care in the clinic setting. This position is full-time.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program for Nurse Practitioners
• Arizona license as an Advanced Practitioner or eligible to obtain
• Current national board certification
• Current DEA license
• Minimum two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a clinic neurosurgical setting
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Independently assess patients with neurosurgical/spinal conditions
• Order and interpret lab and diagnostic tests
• Develop and implement treatment plan
• Collaborate with supervising physician in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patient
• Assist staff with clinical questions
• Write thorough patient notes in a timely fashion
• Submit billing and charge data in an accurate and timely manner
