Job Description :

We are seeking an NP/PA-C to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a multi-location healthcare team. Milwaukee Medical Associates, SC provides both inpatient and outpatient care in the Burlington and Milwaukee Area. This position will focus primarily in outpatient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
  • Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Qualifications:

If Nurse Practitioner:

  • Master's degree in Nursing AND;
  • Active RN and APNP license in State of WI AND;
  • Active board certification as an NP in Adult/Gerontology Acute or Primary Care, Gerontology, or Family AND;
  • Active DEA license

If Physician Assistant:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from accredited PA Program, AND;
  • Active PA board certification; AND
  • Active PA license in State of WI; AND
  • Active DEA license

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants:

  • Two years of relevant clinical experience preferred
  • Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care and/or experience preferred but not required
  • ACLS/BLS certified
  • Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology and management of acute and chronic patient/family health problems
  • Ability to care for acutely and chronically ill patients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities

Salary: $85k- $110k (based on expertise and experience)

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
