POSITION TITLE: Parts Sales – Customer Support

DEPARTMENT: Sales

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Sales Manager

SUMMARY STATEMENT:

To perform all major functions related to the sale of bus parts.

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Answer incoming phone calls in a courteous/helpful manner and help customers with all aspects of order taking/processing. This will require the ability to clearly communicate via phone, email, text, or walk-in, as well as a willingness to learn school buses, Midwest’s product structure, and inventory software.
• Assist customers with parts lookup, pricing, availability, research, sourcing, and order entry. This will require some basic mechanical/parts knowledge and a continued emphasis on learning bus parts and parts lookup software.
• Enhance relationships with current customers by understanding their needs and helping to solve their problems, while exceeding their expectations with prompt, professional, and courteous service.
• Maintain a working knowledge of company products, services, and procedures. This will include regular evaluation, training and promotion of new products.
• Perform other duties, as assigned by the Manager, which may include research and development, assisting with the design and delivery of marketing/sales flyers, attending trade shows, and others.
• Suggest improved methods and practices for business operations when experience and common-sense dictates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have high school education or higher.
• Must communicate well via phone and computer.
• Must be organized, clean, and detailed.
• Must be a problem solver.
• Parts or mechanical experience is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
