NPSC is growing! NPSC Lancaster and NPSC Lebanon have seven (7) operating rooms and perform over 6500 cases annually. All of our cases are outpatient and in January 2021 we will begin performing total knee replacements in our outpatient Lebanon location.

Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care throughout the continuum of care for all patient populations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Implements and provides consistent and comparable care across the continuum of the Surgical Center Setting
Evaluates the patient's progress toward attaining outcomes.
Documents nursing care accurately, completely, and legibly.
Collaborates effectively with other disciplines as appropriate.

COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate:

Due to the CMS rule for healthcare employees, and specifically for employees of NPSC, OAL Realty, and some employees of OAL, OAL now has a COVID-19 vaccine mandate in place.

Required Education/Licensure/Certification:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse licensure in state of Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Basic computer skills (eg, Microsoft® Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years perioperative services experience or related healthcare experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare or other related field
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six (6) months of hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within the second year of employment
Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR); or
Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC); or
Other related nursing certification

This is a quick pace environment with a surgical volume that continues to grow quickly along with staffing. The Surgery Centers will be open Monday-Friday from 6am-6:30pm. This is a full-time hourly position.
