Country Villa Los Feliz Nursing and Healthcare Center is a beautiful facility located in Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, that provides skilled nursing care to our clients. We are currently looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team.

We are looking for a committed Physical Therapist to act as the patient’s partner throughout the trip of restoring motion and ensuring that the client will function at their personal best. You will maximize the quality of life and movement potential within the spheres of promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment or intervention, and rehabilitation.

Job Summary
Physical Therapist (“PT”) to provide quality care to the residents. The PT evaluates and treats patients/residents, communicates with their families, physicians, and other health team members, and maintains all necessary documentation of services in the patient’s medical records. Physical therapy services including treatment planning and implementation, discharge planning, testing patients’ physical abilities, analyzing rehabilitation goals, and consulting with the rehab team and other health team members to coordinate the most effective treatment program.

Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Physical Therapist (PT) Identifies and meet patients’ goals and needs
• Physical Therapist (PT) Offers cost-effective treatments that helps improve clients’ motion and mobility
• Physical Therapist (PT) Reduces the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
• Physical Therapist (PT) Develops care plans using a variety of treatment techniques
• Physical Therapist (PT) Creates fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients’ specific needs
• Physical Therapist (PT) Provides quality, personalized and evidence-based care and proven interventions
• Physical Therapist (PT) Motivates patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Physical Therapist (PT) Promotes clients’ healthy lifestyle by improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Physical Therapist (PT) Consults and practices with other health professionals
• Physical Therapist (PT) Evaluates effects and monitor and communicate progress
• Physical Therapist (PT) Documents patient care services

Skills and Requirements

• Proven work experience as a physical therapist
• Intensive education and clinical expertise
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
• Current knowledge of treatment practices
• Drive to continually learn and grow
• Professional behaviour
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Valid licence to practice physical therapy
• Graduate degree or greater in physical therapy
