ThePurplePiano provides students with a holistic music education, which includes theory, technique, and musicality. Instructors are encouraged to use fun activities and games during lessons, and to meet the needs of each individual student.

We are looking to hire an after school piano instructor to teach private piano lessons in the Louisville/Lafayette, CO area. The contractor may travel to student homes or teach from their own space. The contractor will be paid in the range of $18-25 per 30-minute session, depending on experience and travel expenses.

Responsibilities:

-The contractor should be available to teach lessons during weekday after school hours.

-The contractor must have a dependable vehicle to travel to student’s homes, and/or a safe and clean teaching space of their own to conduct lessons in.

-The contractor should have relevant education and/or experience working with children and their families.

-The contractor must operate as an insured LLC and complete a background check.

-The contractor should be communicative and reliable.

-Preferred contractors will be familiar with the Wunderkeys piano curriculum and have a similar teaching philosophy to that of ThePurplePiano.

-The contractor will prepare their students for a minimum of 2 performances per year.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
