Arise Behavioral Health is a thriving outpatient mental health clinic in Waldorf, Maryland. We are currently seeking a dedicated PMHNP Psychotherapist to join our team as a contractor/1099. We are looking for a highly skilled professional who is passionate about providing exceptional care to patients in need of therapy. The ideal candidate will have experience providing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, and will not provide medication management.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments and provide individualized psychotherapy treatment plans for patients.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to patients with a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders.
• Develop and maintain a therapeutic alliance with patients, ensuring that they feel supported and motivated throughout the course of treatment.
• Implement and document therapy sessions in a timely and efficient manner.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including case managers, therapists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Attend regular supervision and continuing education sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of psychotherapy.

Qualifications:

• Current PMHNP licensure in the state of Maryland.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy services.
• Experience with a range of psychotherapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
• Experience working with a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
