Family-owned Printing & Mailing business located in beautiful Bozeman, Montana is looking for a quality individual to add to our team. We strive to exceed customer expectations in a fast paced and exciting environment. We currently have an opening for a Printing Specialist.

Essential Functions

• Facilitate graphic layout for efficient, cost-effective print press sheets

• Ensure all jobs are delivered on-time, expedite operations that delay or alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. Remain in contact with Production Managers, & customers when critical issues arise, or work production schedule is jeopardized.

• Provide quality control and monitor jobs for errors and/or “common” mistakes to eliminate rework.

• Perform layout/job set up to assure cost effective utilization of equipment (computer and printing) and materials while meeting the customers’ requirements and timeframes.

• Perform production (printing, bindery, etc.)

• Help customers with basic graphic design as needed.

• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, print requests, documents, etc.

• Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervisor and determined by management to be appropriate for this position.

• Follows all proofing and file prep procedures

• Monitor and organize paper inventory to ensure paper is readily available for project needs.

• Problem-solve press issues and coordinate with maintenance technicians to resolve.

Qualifications

· Previous experience in large format printing, digital printing, mailing or related field

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to accept supervision from Production Managers, follow instructions, and work in a harmonious manner with co-workers and supervisors, must be a team player.

· Must have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook Email) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

· Strong attention to detail and a high focus on delivering quality is essential.

· Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills.

· Must be proficient in Creative Cloud (InDesign/Illustrator/Photoshop/Adobe)

· Knowledge in XMPie is preferred

This is a full-time position during our business hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Wage is $21-23/hour DOE.
