Sonny’s Carwash Controls Division, located in Tamarac, Florida, is looking for a web designer that is proficient in JavaScript, CSS and HTML5. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components that are custom made for our customers. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design and quality product is important.

Responsibilities:

• Produces creative visual content for multiple channels, including Sonny’s on-device services, applications, emails, and marketing campaigns.
• Works with business leads and producers to understand the creative needs and scope of each project
• Collaborates closely with other cross functional teams, such as Media, Development and QA
• Provides designs which are compliant with established brand guidelines and style guides
• Prepares and presents proposals regarding design, content, features, standards, and creative new approaches for the use of online communication
• Ability to think creatively about solutions to complex problems
• Write well-designed, efficient, original code by leveraging web development best practices
• Collaborate with graphic designers to craft web experiences that embrace and reflect the customer’s aesthetic/design philosophy

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Web Design experience
• Verifiable experience with web development, including web analytics tools.
• In-depth knowledge of current Adobe Creative Cloud software related to web design and development; namely, Adobe Dreamweaver and/or Photoshop (equivalencies considered)
• Familiarity with jQuery. Proficient in CSS, HTML, and JavaScript
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices – especially as it relates to e-Commerce
• Ability to think creatively about solutions to complex problems
• BS in Information Systems, Design or Visual Arts (or equivalent field / work experience)
