PURPOSE STATEMENT: The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring and enforcing company systems, policies, and procedures to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

The Supervisor shall be responsible for the following:

• Communicate job expectations; coach, counsel, and discipline employees; initiate, coordinate, and enforce company systems, policies, and procedures
• Recruit and hire employees; train employees on proper use of equipment, use of resources, and safety guidelines; guarantee employee compliance with established policies and procedures; and assist in their personal growth opportunities
• Maintain work flow by monitoring process, setting process variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrective actions within process control points, fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments
• Complete production plan by establishing priorities, scheduling personnel, monitoring progress, revising schedules, and reporting results of the process flow
• Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
• Ensure operation of equipment and evaluate new equipment and techniques
• Create and revise systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements
• Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, identifying solutions, and recommending action

OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED:

• · Strong management skills including leadership, delegation, negotiation and decision making
• · Ability to communicate information effectively at all levels of the company
• · Analytical, problem solving and the ability to take initiative
• · Proficiency with computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
