Our client is a leading manufacturer of building materials, offering top-of-the-line structural products. To maintain their success, they focus on product quality and product availability. They are looking for a QA/QC Specialist to ensure the success of the warehouse by completing and analyzing process controls through quality checks as well as driving operational improvements

The QA/QC Specialist will provide technical, analytical, and administrative support to the due diligence programs executed by the Quality Assurance team.

Focus:

• Maintain the Quality Management System and related documentation.
• Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate and correct customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
• Formulate, document, and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.
• Monitor and direct test functions and applications.
• Oversee ISO and quality training programs.
• Create work orders and perform in process inspections.
• Maintain leadership role in continuous improvement efforts.
• Perform internal ISO audits and coordinate annual independent surveillance audits.

Skill Set:

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business is preferred.
• Experience developing and implementing key quality processes and thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
• Understanding of quality control audit and project plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Standards.
• Ability to analyze data, share information and make recommendations for improvements.
• Excellent interpersonal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft and other relevant software.
